A controlled lighting environment for quality inspection of colour with the human eye.
The Spectrum II Cabinet provides a controlled lighting environment for visual assessment of colours. This is often required to examine colours of items with the human eye, during production processes for quality control purposes. It will provide a consistent light source for faster, closer and more accurate colour matching.
The use of multiple light sources is the only way to detect Metarism. Metarism is a phenomenon where samples appear to match under one light source but are distinctly different under another.
Different light sources on Spectrum II:
- Artificial daylight (D-65)
- Cool white light (CWF)
- Tungsten Filament Light (Domestic Light Matching)
- Ultra Violet Black Light (Whites and Fluorescent dyes)
- TL-84 Light – Triphosphor fluorescent Light (Point of Sale)
Manufactured strictly as per ASTM standards.
Industrial use, especially in paint, packaging and coatings.
